Countdown Timer |
To keep our tradition alive, we're releasing our premium set of jQuery popups as a holiday gift to all MBT readers. Popup plugin is specially design and develop with five unique features. It's fully customizable, has a countdown timer that can be set on any date and time, it has 3 different animations, 2 charming Christmas background themes and most importantly for blogger blogs. Introduced is the first popup plugin of its kind that comes with HTML5 session storage. Cookie setting functionality to control the popup display You can decide whether to show your visitors a popup only once or on each new visit. It is compatible with all major browsers. The interesting thing is that the scripts are stored on our servers so there is no headache from you so installation is very easy. You can easily add it to your Blogger blog or WordPress blog or any web page. Let's see a live demo first on Blogger and then on two easy web pages.
Add a Christmas popup to a Blogspot blog
Go to Blogger> Templates
Make a backup of your template
Click "Edit HTML"
Paste the following code at the very top

You can customize almost anything from animation style to animation style but I will only discuss how to keep things simple.
Set the time and date by editing: 12/25/2017 12:00 AM I set it to the pre-Christmas time. The demo shows Christmas time in 2017. Just to keep the popup alive! :)
You can edit and set the countdown timer text display:: D ٪٪ Day: ٪٪ H ٪٪ Hours: ٪٪ M ٪٪ Minute: ٪٪ S ٪٪ Seconds. Make sure not to change the variable ending with ٪ d. You can choose to display only hours / minutes / seconds or days / hours / minutes. Edit it to your liking.
Once the countdown timer reaches the target date, it will display some message instead. You can choose to write anything by changing it. It's finally here!
You can choose from one of three available animated styles by fading or replacing Feed & Pop. Animation names are case sensitive. Make sure you type the above.
You can control the size, speed, count and shape of snowboards by modifying them. I would recommend keeping it as it is for the effect of natural snowfall. Flucount refers to the number of snowballs falling at a time.
If you only want to show popups to a visitor once and never in their lifetime, then change session storage to local storage. This variable appears twice, so change it twice.
5. Next search for it : skin> and paste the following styles just above it:
If you want to display popups as shown in Demo 1, then use this CSS code.
Use this CSS code if you want to show the popup shown in Demo 1.
6. Finally paste the following HTML code under

You can replace the bold text with a message of your choice.
7. Save your template and you're all set!
Visit your blog to see a beautiful message pop up to wish you a beautiful winter holiday. :)
